Werner Herzog

Werner Herzog takes the viewer on a ride around the world, showing one that although the world can be beautiful, it cannot be fully tamed. The Split Earth Collection shows how delicate the balance between humans and nature is, and although we live on Earth, it will rip us out of it to restore balance. Grizzly Man, Into the Inferno, and Encounters at the End of the World are all examples to represent this notion. In the following images, I tried to capture the relationship that Werner Herzog presents between primal nature and humanity.
